I Wish Water Tasted Like RedBull

Before my week began I knew that it was gonna be a busy one. Don’t even get me started on my Wednesday schedule. My energy drink consumption also rose in correlation with the week, and I won’t deny that I currently have a crispy RedBull sitting at my side, and I probably just need to drink some water, but RedBull just tastes so much better. This week I’ve dabbled in Bubbler and Celsius, but I always crawl back to my favorite energy drink of all.

You probably think this blog is sponsored. Don’t worry yall, we’re not there just yet. I still need to work on my consistency with writin these things.

As the week comes to a close, I remember taking time this past Easter Sunday to reflect and calculate the busy week ahead instead of enjoying the moments of the sweet day, overstimulated before the week had even begun. Now that the week is nearly over, I see that all my scheming and scheduling and strategizing was a waste of time. I’m not trying to say don’t plan your week or delete everything off your calendar. (Please don’t do that) I’m just sitting here on the other side of a busy week reminded that once again, time flies, and sweating the small stuff is never worth it.

My mom told me growing up she used to sweat the small stuff early in life and it stole away her joy. So instead of thinking about the bajillion things you have to accomplish when you’re in the midst of a busy day, week, month, or season, be reminded that it will come and go before you know it. Be encouraged to live present, in the thick of it, even if that means cracking open a few more RedBull’s than expected.

Oh and t-10 days until it’s officially spring!

Best,

Meg
